- Why is melon pink inside?
With the arrival of spring, gardeners begin selecting the right melon varieties for their plots. Photos and names help identify their characteristics and select the variety that best meets their needs and preferences. The plant originates from Asia, but can now be found in gardens in almost every region where agriculture is developed. Breeders annually expand the available selection with new varieties and hybrids.
General characteristics of varieties
Melons were originally grown exclusively in warm Asian climates. But over time, this annual herbaceous vine migrated to the cooler Russian climate. Through the efforts of breeders, new varieties have been developed that can produce tasty, sweet, and juicy fruits even in unusual climates.
Today, many varieties are known with early, late and mid-season ripening periods, suitable for cultivation in a wide variety of conditions.

Refer to relevant recommendations when purchasing seeds.
Why is melon pink inside?
Melons with pink flesh inside are among the elite Central Asian varieties. They are perishable and therefore do not withstand long transportation.
The color should be uniform, without any distinctive spots. The taste of this fruit is simply delicious, as is its aroma.
If spots are visible on the flesh, this could be the result of chemical dyes. Unscrupulous sellers often try to pass off ordinary melons as premium varieties. Eating such a product is not always safe.
